At the Foundation we emphasize close partnerships with schools and institutions in the region to promote education and sustainability.
One of our closest collaborations is with Stadtteilschule Hamburg-Mitte, a school that shares our passion for offshore wind energy and sustainability.
Boys and Girls Day Hamburg
Together with Stadtteilschule Hamburg-Mitte, we participated in the “Boys and Girls Day Hamburg” to give young people the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exciting world of offshore wind energy. This day offers students the opportunity to learn about the many aspects of our industry.
Experience education up close: Career Information Day
Our participation in the Career Information Day at Stadtteilschule-Mitte allows us to give students an insight into the exciting career opportunities in the offshore wind industry. We are proud to act as a bridge builder between education and the working world every year.

Action day on the Elbe beach with 4th graders of Max-Brauer-Schule Altona
"A highlight of our activities was the action day at Elbstrand, which we organized in cooperation with a fourth grade class. Here, the students were able to experience the beauty of Hamburg's Elbe beach and develop a deeper understanding of the environment and sustainability. Together, we took the HVV ferry to the Elbe beach, built model-sized wind turbines on different types of foundations and observed how they behave in different waves, for example when a large container ship passes by. Before the event, a large proportion of the (male) students had stated that they wanted to be automotive mechanics. We were able to clearly change this focus with our campaign.
