PROMOTioN Mid-Term Conference – Shaping a meshed HVDC offshore grid for the Northern Seas
The Horizon 2020 project PROMOTioN (PROgress on Meshed HVDC Offsfhore Transmission Networks) will host its mid-term project conference “PROMOTioN – Shaping a meshed HVDC offshore grid for the Northern Seas - First findings on grid concepts, technological innovations and barriers ” on 6 June 2018 in Amsterdam.
The venue is located next to the central train station. The mid-term conference will feature:
- key notes and panel discussions with experts from the offshore wind and HVDC sector
- intermediary findings on technology solutions and policy recommendations
- technical as well as non-technical workshops & expert panels on general findings, potential synergies, etc.
Further information on speakers and the agenda will follow by early April. We encourage you to join and discuss with high level speakers from the project consortium, as well as from the European Commission, WindEurope, and other stakeholders about the progress made in the project and the opportunities and barriers of European offshore wind & grid sector.
