PROMOTioN Side-Event at Offshore Wind Energy 2017: "Tackling the challenges for meshed HVDC offshore grids"
On 7 June 2017, PROMOTioN project partners invite interested stakeholders from industry, policy, academia and associations to attend their first stakeholder event this year. Hosting the workshop alongside the Offshore Wind Energy 2017 in London, experts from the PROMOTioN project share insightful presentations and preliminary results regarding
- a draft roadmap for meshed HVDC offshore grids,
- how to overcome the related legal barriers,
- how HVDC circuit breaker test circuits can be designed and
- the way HVDC circuit breaker protection schemes can look like.
Participation is free of charge, however, a valid exhibition pass or conference pass for the 7 June 2017 is needed to enter the premises. Please note that registration is open until 5 June 2017 and is required due to a limited number of seats available.
