WindEurope calls on Germany to advance climate and energy plans
WindEurope has published a call to action addressed to the German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, Peter Altmaier. In the letter, the wind industry association calls on the minister to implement a National Energy and Climate Plan for 2030 before the beginning of the German presidency of the European Council in July. WindEurope also calls for increased renewable energy ambition, no further restrictions on repowering of wind turbines and a new financing scheme for offshore wind projects.
