WFO published Global Offshore Wind Report

The World Forum Offshore Wind (WFO) today published its annual Global Offshore Wind Report. According to the report, 5,194 megawatts of offshore capacity were added worldwide in 2019 - more than ever before in a single year. In total, more than 27 gigawatts of offshore capacity was installed at the end of 2019. International leaders are the United Kingdom (with 9.7 gigawatts of installed offshore capacity), Germany (7.5 gigawatts) and China (4.9 gigawatts). Another seven gigawatts of offshore capacity are also currently under construction, a good half of which is in China.
