Our educational work and public relations
The German Offshore Wind Energy Foundation is particularly involved in vocational education work for children and young people. From the basics of the climate system and renewable energies, to the construction and operation of offshore wind farms, to the design of our electricity markets and grids, as well as related job profiles, the Foundation provides compact and age-appropriate information on the current state of knowledge. Through various events and educational formats, close contact with schools, books for children and young people and its own touring exhibition on the subject of offshore wind energy, the Foundation provides insights into the fascinating world of renewable energies. In this way, the Foundation not only makes a valuable contribution to environmental education, but also recruits the skilled workers of tomorrow.
Was-ist-Was series "Offshore Windenergie – Hightech auf hoher See"
